About CHA
Caribbean Heritage Association, Inc. (CHA) is a non-profit organization based in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in March 1986, CHA was created to serve as an educational, social and cultural organization for the greater Boston area. CHA works to promote, preserve and improve the Caribbean culture in Boston by hosting events that celebrate West Indian traditions, supporting local Caribbean entrepreneurs and offering aid to those in the community through academic scholarships and various types of community services.
Born out of a desire to bring Boston area Barbadians together, CHA has become more than a social organization. Today CHA is a forum where people of Caribbean heritage can work together to address economic, social, and educational issues facing our community. CHA is devoted to creating a sustainable network to provide assistance to deserving causes and other non-profit groups.
