CHA to celebrate its 20th Anniversary in April 2006

"With Pride of our Heritage we move forward"

03/05/2006 --

Caribbean Heritage Association, Inc. is celebrating its 20-year Anniversary in April 2006, with an Open House on April 8 at the St. Cyprians Church Hall, 1073 Tremont St. Boston, MA, a Church Service at St. Cyprians Church, and a Banquet at Lantanas, 43 Scanlon Drive, Randolph, Massachusetts.

These events will commemorate this momentous occasion commencing on April 8, 2006 with an Open House. Here, we will display our accomplishments and memorabilia taken from different events we have held over the years.  They will be comments from Past scholarship awardees, video clips of scholarship presentations, highlights of our Food Festival, clips of cultural shows and donations.

During the Church Service, we will give thanks and appreciation to God for giving us the opportunity, strength, wisdom and understanding to be able to support and contribute to non-profit organizations and individuals with in our community.

At the Banquet, we will be honoring three individuals who have work tirelessly over the years volunteering their services in our communities, both in Boston and in Barbados.

To help us celebrate this milestone in our organization's history, we have invited members of the Boston political establishment, members of the Barbados Delegation in New York, Washington DC and Miami, along with the Barbados Tourism Authority and the Nation Newspaper. The dignitaries will be asked to present the awards during the ceremony.  The Master of Ceremony for the evening will be our Honorable Consul General of New York Ms. Jessica Odle. We also will be enlightened with words of wisdom from the Barbadian Delegation and Boston political leaders.

Caribbean Heritage Association, Inc., is looking forward to having a wonderful time celebrating this milestone in our organization's history.
